Oracle Application Server is an integrated infrastructure and we use it to implement and manage enterprise applications on an Internet model.

It combines many runtime services such as application runtime environment to deploy J2EE and Forms applications as services, to access the services via an enterprise Portal from fixed and mobile devices, to integrate these applications with legacy systems, and to deliver business intelligence both query and analysis and reporting.

Together with these, Oracle Application Server provides a common deployment environment with common security services, management facilities, scalability and availability architecture. Oracle has deployed the runtime environment of Oracle Designer (Web PL/SQL), Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports within the Oracle Application Server for following reasons
